Kiki

Our German Shepherd Kiki, born around 2020, is looking for a home. Overwhelmed by the situation at the animal shelter, the noise, the other dogs, and the many strangers, she initially withdrew. Little by little, she became braver and went to people she knew for lots of cuddles. The more you spend time with Kiki, the faster you realize that she's actually a totally cheerful dog who still needs to be shown that the world and people aren't so bad after all. Once her "protective wall" is broken, she'll dash through her kennel, jump up at you cheekily, and then go and get one of the tasty treats. Kiki needs more time to warm up to men than to women. If she notices you walking in her direction with a harness, Kiki is always overjoyed because she loves being outdoors. She likes to bury her nose in the grass or sniff what the wind blows. When other dogs walk past her kennel, she initially barks at them. But we think she'll get along well with other dogs, depending on their affinity. We'd like Kiki to find people who will give her security and show her everything without pressure and with plenty of time. Because she's insecure in many situations, older children are recommended in the household.
