Our Rocky was acquired as a puppy because of his breed. But it quickly became clear that the previous owners couldn't do him justice. He was rehomed, but even there, he didn't have an easy time. Ultimately, Rocky was confiscated by the veterinary office, which resulted in him spending a year in a kennel. The owner who took him into his care could no longer devote enough time, but still cares for Rocky intensively here at the shelter. Rocky is now making great progress, is sweet, and knows all the basic commands. During the initial period, the owner, who worked on all of this with him, is happy to help them to ensure a smooth transition. He gets along well with female dogs, but with male dogs, it's all about sympathy. He's also used to life in a household, although he's still a bit boisterous there. Being left alone occasionally is no problem for him. We are therefore looking for experienced owners who are willing to grow and learn together with Rocky.
